VoloMedia Creates Video Game Vertical
January 15, 2009 1:48 PMToday we are very excited to announce the formation of our new video game vertical! With the addition of GamePro Media, a publisher of gaming news and reviews, as well as television network G4 as VoloMedia partners, we now represent over 25 shows in the category. Together, those shows are downloaded millions of times every month.
First to take advantage of the vertical was The United States Airforce who needed to reach young men for a campign created by ad agency GSD&M Idea City. They ran ads in G4's Attack of the Show, X-Play, and Game Trailers podcasts.
The addition of gaming to our ever-growing list of verticals (including news and politics, business, women's interest, and entertainment) allows us to reach an audience who is using digital media more than any other demographic.

As we look ahead to another year, let's take moment to remember why 2008 was one for the history books. And thanks to Slate and Newsweek, we can put that nostalgia on our iPods and reminisce on the go.
